Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler’s divorce was imminent, according to some of their fans.

On Sunday, the “Very Cavallari” stars took to social media to announce their split after 10 years of being together. Both Cavallari and Cutler shared the same message on their respective Instagram accounts. According to them, they were “growing apart.”

However, some fans weren’t surprised with the announcement because according to them after following the couple, they saw two very different individuals and most of them sided with Cutler.

“This is not surprising at all. They are complete opposites. Jay is content with staying home and spending time with his family while Kristen was always too worried about the show, her business and her friends,” edkarl12 commented on Cavallari’s post.

The same user noted how Cutler resented his wife for being gone for her businesses and how Cavallari felt the same with her husband for sitting at home all day. “Although this is super sad, it’s not shocking at all,” the follower added.

“Sorry to hear that. He is a great man and father. You are a party girl and he is a realist. My heart goes out to Jay,” smh_190 opined.

“That’s not surprising. Jay is a miserable man and was not hiding his lack of emotions and feelings on TV either!” klucas9 wrote before adding “Kristin can get better from someone who can show her love and support and emotions.”

Meanwhile, several also commented on Cutler’s post. His supporters said they saw it coming and some wanted him to have his own series.

“Sadly, saw this coming. He can do so much better someone who worships him not uses him as a door mat sad for everyone involved esp the kids,” travelpalmsbedding commented.

“I saw this coming too. It was painfully obvious on the show they weren’t happy,” meowkusheva agreed.

“Jay, you can get any woman you want. You will be fine. I am glad you posted this. Make your own spin-off reality show. It will do five times better than Very The Girl Jay Just Left,” hagan311x wrote.

Meanwhile, many also blamed their exposure on TV for their split because Cavallari and Cutler’s relationship seemed fine before their show.

“Relationships don’t last when you do a reality show seems you guys were fine before all of this sad to see that,” carmel_brittany wrote.

“REALITY SHOWS ARE THE DEATH OF ALL COUPLES. EVERY COUPLE THAT HAS ONE GETS DIVORCED,” jamesbnyc11 commented.

“Agreed! They do it for the money but in the end it ruins them. One person loves the camera and the other hates it,” arleenie81 added.

Cavallari and Cutler’s E! reality series “Very Cavallari” concluded its third season last month.
