Kylie Jenner is turning 18 in about a month, and she’s now moving into her very first home. The reality star purchased a US $2.7 million mansion in Calabasas, California, close to other members of her family earlier this year. After extensive renovations, she finally moved in this week.

Back in February, TMZ broke the news that Kylie has purchased a Mediterranean-style home in Calabasas County. Her intent to move was confirmed in an episode of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” which aired this spring. Kylie’s mother, Kris Jenner, was surprised when she heard about her daughter’s plans, but she eventually got on board and helped her choose a place.

Kylie has been teasing some photos from the renovations throughout the past few months and has also said in several interviews that she intended to move as soon as she turned 18. It appears that she couldn’t wait a month longer for her birthday on Aug. 10. This Monday, she posted a photo showing the interior of a living room and she captioned the shot: “project for the next 2 days.”

A few hours later, she confirmed the move through another Instagram post. Her sister Khloe Kardashian and her posed for a photo in matching black leggings and crop tops. “Don't you wish your move-in crew looked like mine,” said Kylie.

Khloe posted the same photo and expressed her excitement about living closer to her sister, despite the fact that Kylie used to live with their mother Kris Jenner in the same gated community. Khloe wrote, “We're finally neighbors!!!! Moving day!!!!”

The sisters can also count Kourtney Kardashian and her family among their close neighbors. In fact, most of the family is staying close. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West initially planned to move to the Bel Air neighborhood in Los Angeles but ended up buying a house close to the rest of the family.

The move was successfully completed, and Kylie showed off her new digs on Instagram. She shared a selfie where she is wearing an all-white outfit that matched the monochromatic theme of her new home.
