Amazon is a hugely popular and successful company that has redefined the idea of the one-(virtual) stop shop. Taking this model, Jumia, which is based in Nigeria, aims to provide that sort of convenient shopping experience for Africa, and has led the way for the business of online shopping there.

While in Nigeria, IBTimes reporter Connor Sheets was able to meet with the company’s co-founder, Tunde Kehinde, to discover where the business stands now and where it hopes to go. Faced with its biggest challenge of shipping, Jumia, though successful, has a long way to go.

Sheets sat down with IBTimesTV to discuss his impressions of the company -- Jumia's business model, the biggest obstacles it faces and the biggest question: how hard is it to establish a successful business in Nigeria?
