Perrie Edwards is officially a mom! The Little Mix singer welcomed her first baby with her soccer player boyfriend, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Saturday.

Edwards, 28, took to Instagram Sunday to share two black and white photos of their newborn. The first photo showed the baby lying on a fluffy white blanket and putting their hand over the side of their face, which is not revealed. The second snap featured the baby's tiny foot pressed against Oxlade-Chamberlain's palm.

"Welcome to the world baby 21/08/21," Perrie wrote in the caption.

The Liverpool player also shared two photos on his Instagram account. The first picture was the same as the first photo on Edwards' post, while the second featured him and Perrie gently holding onto their child's foot.

"Welcome to the world little one," he wrote in the caption. "21/08/21."

Neither Perrie nor her boyfriend has revealed their baby's name or their sex.

Edwards' Little Mix bandmate, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, 29, who is also expecting a baby, commented on her post.

"I am so proud of you and I love you so much. What an angel," she wrote.

Other fans, friends and fellow celebrities also sent congratulatory messages to Edwards and Oxlade-Chamberlain, who have been dating for more than four years.

These include Louis Tomlinson's sister Lottie Tomlinson, One Direction's former hair stylist and makeup artist Lou Teasdale, "Love Island" host Laura Whitmore as well as Oxlade-Chamberlain's England teammates Trent Alexander-Arnold, Mason Mount and Jordan Henderson.

Edwards and Pinnock went through their pregnancy journeys together. The former announced that she was expecting her first child in May. She shared two black and white photos featuring her growing baby bump. In the second pic, her boyfriend is cradling her stomach.

"So happy to be on this wild journey with my soulmate. Me + Him = You," Edwards wrote in the caption. "We can’t wait to meet you baby Ox!"

Edwards' post came six days after Pinnock made her own pregnancy announcement. She took to Instagram to share a snap of her showing her baby bump and one in which she poses with her soccer player fiancé, Andre Gray.

"We've dreamed about this moment for so long and we can't believe the dream is finally coming true... we can't wait to meet you," Pinnock wrote in the caption.

In May, Edwards shared how she and Pinnock learned about each other's pregnancies. In a TikTok interview, the singer said they were on a work Zoom and were chatting about their schedule as Little Mix was blocked out for two years in advance, according to HuffPost. She was worried that she couldn't handle it due to her pregnancy, so she informed her manager.

But apparently, her manager was also expecting a baby. Then, her manager asked her if it was OK to add another one to their call, and to her surprise, she heard Pinnock.

"I just heard this voice that said, ‘Perrie! You too!’ And then we just cried our eyes out. We couldn’t believe it," Edwards said. "What timing! It wasn’t planned."
