Mama June Arrested For Drug Possession, Domestic Dispute With Boyfriend Geno

Mama June Shannon is walking on thin ice. The television personality who had a massive transformation by undergoing surgeries to address her weight problem was arrested last week ahead of her show’s return for an all-new season on WE tv.

Over the weekend, TMZ exclusively revealed that Mama June was arrested at an Alabama gas station last Wednesday after cops discovered that she was in possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Someone phoned the police that she and boyfriend Geno Doak were having a domestic dispute, so cops rushed to the scene only to find that the two may have been using drugs at the time.

Police found white powder, which Mama June confirmed was crack cocaine, in the reality star’s car. They also discovered a needle on the driver’s floorboard, a green pill bottle with white powder in the glove compartment and a pipe with white residue inside Mama June’s jogging suit pocket. When the cops searched Doak, he warned them of possibly getting sticked because he had a needle inside his pocket.

TMZ also released an audio file of Mama June’s phone conversation with a tow truck driver following her release. In the audio clip, she claims that she misplaced her driver’s license and that she was detained because she wasn’t able to provide proper identification to the police. She also denies that there was a domestic dispute and insists that her beau was arrested on DUI and she even claims that cops didn’t find anything in her car.

In another follow-up, TMZ leaked a footage of Mama June and Geno Doak playing at a casino days after the arrest. In the clip, the mother of four is seen playing with a slot machine as Geno and other people look at her game. The name of the casino wasn’t disclosed.

As previously reported, Lauryn “Pumpkin” Thompson revealed that the new season of their TLC series is going to chronicle their family issues and financial problems. Mama June’s daughter did not elaborate on this during her and sister Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson’s recent interview with Cheddar, but a sneak peek at the new installment shows Geno getting arrested in front of Mama June.

In July last year, Daily Mail exposed Doak’s troubled past. He apparently has a lengthy criminal record that includes burglary, theft and criminal damage to property. Mama June’s boyfriend was also imprisoned twice. He was introduced on Mama June’s reality show in Season 2. The couple celebrated their third anniversary early this month.
