Although Manchester United played in a strong overall pace in their recent loss, it was still a lesson to be learned for the squad.

"More than a positive start. We played a great game and created a lot of chances. But in football it's not enough - we missed a lot in front of goal," Fernandes added.

Looking back at the opportunities of the game, it’s important for Manchester United to bounce back and adjust for the future games to come.

"We are not satisfied about this because we wanted to go through. Now it's time to rest and refresh the legs. Their keeper did very well, but the quality we have we should have scored," Fernandes concluded.

With Manchester United continuing to improve with the revitalized energy of Paul Pogba and Fernandes leading the charge, the club is aiming to develop for years to come.
