Matt Damon really wants Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez to make it.

Bennifer fans were delighted when the "Justice League" star and the "On The Floor" singer rekindled their romance earlier this year. However, the "Martian" star believes there's no one who wants to see his close pal's romance with Lopez go the distance more than him.

Damon spoke about the couple when he appeared on "The Carlos Watson Show" while promoting his new movie, "Stillwater."

At one point, host Carlos Watson asked, "Bennifer, [going to] make it or not?"

"Oh man, no one's pulling harder than I am," Damon replied. "They're both great. I just want for their happiness, and they seem pretty happy right now."

In the same interview, Damon was also asked about the most valuable or interesting thing he's learned about parenting, especially as a dad of daughters. Damon and his wife, Luciana Barroso, share three daughters together: Isabella, 15, Gia, 12, and Stella, 10. The "Jason Bourne" star smiled as he replied, "humility."

"I don't know if other parents out watching this can relate, [but] there are those nights where you just put your head on the pillow and you go 'Man I screwed that up,'" he said while laughing. "Like, I could have done better and it's like, you know, it's a relentless job and you can't get it right all the time."

Damon also shared that his favorite book of all time is "The Princess Bride" and that he has read it to all of his children. He revealed that he enjoyed acting and doing the voices so much that there were nights when his children were already asleep and he kept going because he had so much fun.

Meanwhile, this wasn't the first time Damon was asked about his friend's reignited romance with the "Maid In Manhattan" actress.

During an appearance on SiriusXM's "The Jess Cagle Show" last month, he also spoke about the couple after co-host Jess Cagle told Damon, "You're very happy for Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez. I know you love getting asked about that."

"Right. But how else would I be? Like, would I be unhappy? Like, 'I hate true love,'" Damon joked. "It sucks. Yeah. Yeah. I wish them nothing, but you know, hardship."

Prior to that, he also shared his thoughts on Lopez and Affleck giving their love a second chance during an interview with "Extra."

"He's the best," Damon said of Affleck in July. "He deserves every happiness in the world. I’m glad for both of them."

Earlier this month, Damon was spotted hanging out with the couple. The trio was photographed strolling along the beach near his Malibu neighborhood.

"Jennifer got along great with Matt," a source told E! News of the outing, noting that Lopez and Damon had talked "just like old friends" and exchanged laughs throughout the day.
