‘May Allah be with you’: Jermaine Jackson on brother’s death (VIDEO)
Michael Jackson’s older brother, Jermaine, spoke on Thursday evening to the press about the sudden death of the King of pop.
“This is hard,” he said softly. “My brother, the legendary King of Pop, passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2009 at 2:26 pm.... It is believed he passed away of cardiac arrest”, Jackson said after several sigh’s at the auditorium of the Ronald Reagan UCLA hospital during a press conference, LA Times reported.
According to Jackson the definitive cause of death would be revealed once the autopsy was done.
He ended the conference by saying, “May Allah be with you, Michael, always.” Jermaine embraced Islam in 1989 after growing up as a Jehovah’s Witness.
Jermaine was a member of the 70’s pop phenomenon Jackson Five together with Michael Jackson, Tito Jackson, Marlon Jackson, Jackie Jackson.
