McDonald’s (MCD) is bringing back one of its most anticipated menu items with the Shamrock Shake for the month of February.

The beloved shake will be sold at participating restaurants nationwide starting on Feb. 21 for a limited time only.

McDonald’s will also be bringing back the Oreo Shamrock McFlurry at the same time after first debuting it in the U.S. in 2020.

The Shamrock Shake is made using vanilla soft serve that has been blended with McDonald’s Shamrock Shake flavor and finished with whipped topping.

The Oreo Shamrock McFlurry, inspired by the Shamrock Shake, features vanilla soft serve with Shamrock Shake flavor and Oreo cookie pieces.

With the 2022 release of Shamrock Shake, McDonald’s revealed what it uses to give the shake its iconic minty green hue – hex code number CBF2AC.

McDonald’s has been serving the Shamrock Shake for over 50 years, with the first sold in 1970 regionally, according to the company.

National sales of the milkshake occurred in 2021 with a number of variations of the shake being produced over the years, the news outlet said.

McDonald’s also recently launched a Hacks Menu, which allows customers to change up their order with some fan-favorite menu items, including the Hash Brown McMuffin - a Sausage McMuffin with Egg topped with a hash brown, Crunchy Double - Chicken McNuggets on top of a Double Cheeseburger drizzled with barbeque sauce, Land, Air & Sea - Hot 'n Spicy McChicken sandwich stacked on a Big Mac, stacked on a Filet-O-Fish sandwich, and Surf + Turf - Filet-O-Fish sandwich with a Double Cheeseburger.

As of Wednesday at 10:37 a.m. EST, shares of McDonald's were trading at $261.85, up $1.77, or 0.68%.
