McDonald’s (MCD) is heating up the breakfast wars once again by introducing a series of sweet treats that are available for order all day long.

The new menu items include apple fritters, blueberry muffins, and cinnamon rolls, which the fast-food chain said will be available starting on Oct. 28. The sweet treats will be offered on the menu all day at participating restaurants nationwide.

The apple fritter features cinnamon and apples in a hand-held style dessert treat that is fried and drizzled with glaze icing. The blueberry muffin is made with real blueberries and topped with streusel crumb topping while the cinnamon roll has cinnamon layered between pastry dough, which is drizzled with cream cheese icing and served warm.

“McDonald’s has been famous for our savory breakfast menu for almost fifty years,” Linda VanGosen, vice president, Brand and Menu Strategy at McDonald’s USA said in a statement. “We’re continuing our breakfast innovation by adding tasty new sweet options with our new McCafé Bakery lineup.

“We know our customers deserve a break now more than ever, and are excited to give them another reason to visit their favorite breakfast destination by offering delicious flavors they crave, any time of the day,” she added.

This is the first bakery addition the McDonald’s has added to its menu in over eight years, adding to its cookies and pies. McDonald’s has been making several enhancements to its menu as of recently. The company launched the Travis Scott Cactus Jack meal combo in September, which was followed by the J Balvin combo meal on Monday. McDonald’s, which also launched a merchandise collection with Scott, said it promises more from Balvin.

Shares of McDonald's were trading at $225.71 as of 10:07 a.m. EDT, up $1.62 or 0.72%.
