A video obtained by TMZ showed Megan Thee Stallion bleeding on the street after she was allegedly shot by rapper Tory Lanez following an argument inside his vehicle Sunday, July 12, morning.

On Saturday night, 25-year-old Stallion and 27-year-old Lanez attended a pool party in Los Angeles. Around 4.30 a.m. (7.30 a.m. ET), police arrived at the scene after receiving reports of “shot fired.” The officers found the duo along with Stallion’s friend Kelsey Nicole in an SUV.

A video of the incident, obtained by TMZ, showed the cops asking Stallion to step out of the vehicle. With each step she takes, the rapper leaves behind a trail of blood before sitting down on the sidewalk. Another woman is then asked to come out of the SUV. Throughout the video, a man, identified by the outlet as Lanez, can be seen lying face down in the middle of the street. International Business Times cannot independently verify the video.

Stallion was then rushed to a hospital while Lanez was taken into custody on a concealed weapons charge after the officers found a gun inside the vehicle. Lanez, whose real name is Daystar Peterson, was released Sunday afternoon after he posted $35,000 bail.

Early reports suggested Stallion was hospitalized after she cut her foot on broken glass. However, the rapper took to Instagram on Wednesday to refute the rumors and confirm that she was shot.

"The police officers drove me to the hospital where I underwent surgery to remove the bullets. I’m incredibly grateful to be alive and that I’m expected to make a full recovery, but it was important for me to clarify the details about this traumatic night," she wrote.

A source told Page Six on Thursday, July 16, that Lanez was the person who had shot the rapper.

"Tory fired the shots from within the vehicle while Megan was outside trying to leave. There is video and the police are investigating. This is a case of a man physically harming and abusing a woman," the source told Page Six.

Meanwhile, Nicole denied the allegation. "I wasn’t the one with the gun and would never do something like that. However I was present," she said, the Shade Room reported.

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department did not say if Lanez is a suspect."The detectives are seeking information regarding the shooting involving Daystar Peterson, and the investigation is still ongoing. I’m not privilege to what the detectives have right now," the spokesperson said, adding that any video submitted to the investigation would "not be released until the case goes to court in order to protect the integrity of the case."
