Meghan Markle allegedly disowned her BFF Jessica Mulroney following the latter's white privilege scandal.

The Duchess of Sussex is allegedly ditching her best friend, Mulroney, over her recent scandal. According to Dan Wootton, The Sun’ executive editor, Mulroney is distraught due to the breakdown of her friendship with the duchess. She reportedly didn’t feel any support from Markle, which could mean that the royal has ditched her.

“Jessica’s team have made it clear that she feels completely ditched by Meghan and fears she is going to cut her out of her life for good,” a source told Wootton.

“She’s completely distraught and devastated because Meghan has done nothing to stand up for her publicly. Jessica is terrified she will never work again. Meghan has forsaken her most loyal friend just to look woke.”

Prior to Wootton’s report, several outlets already claimed that Markle was ending her friendship with Mulroney. One source told Entertainment Tonight that the Duchess of Sussex has already distanced herself from Mulroney. She was allegedly concerned that Mulroney was profiting from their friendship and only using it to further her brand.

Another source also said that Markle couldn’t get over Mulroney’s discourse with Sasha Exeter. The stylist threatened Exeter’s job after the latter encouraged social media influencers to support the Black Lives Matter movement.

“That was hugely offensive to Meghan and the deciding factor for her. Meghan considers the relationship to be done,” the insider told Us Weekly.

Exeter claimed that Markle’s best friend “ticked every single box of what a white woman should absolutely not do during the biggest racial uproar in history.” Mulroney already apologized for what she did to Exeter.

“She rightfully called me out for not doing enough when it came to engaging in the important and difficult conversation around race and injustice in our society. I took it personally and that was wrong. I know I need to do better,” she wrote on Instagram.

“I want to say from my heart that every word of my apologies to Sasha over the course of the last two weeks privately, and again both publicly and privately today is true. I did not intend in anway to jeopardize her livelihood. We had a disagreement and it got out of hand.”
