Meghan Markle, Kate Middleton, and Queen Elizabeth II are the three most popular female royals of today, but they are just like non-royals.

Joe Gamp, a journalist for Express, compiled some of the three royals’ awkward moments in public that prove that they are just like everyone else. Two years ago, the Duchess of Cambridge’s skirt blew up while she was laying a wreath to honor Indian soldiers in New Delhi.

In 2013, Middleton’s heel got caught in a grate while she was handing out St. Patrick’s Day shamrocks to Irish Guards. In order to address the situation, Middleton held Prince William for support as she pulled her heel off the grate.

Markle has not had similar awkward moments with Middleton since she’s used to going out in public as an actress. But there was a time when she forgot if she was supposed to enter the car first. While on her first solo engagement with Her Majesty, Markle hesitated before asking the Queen about her preference. The Queen told Markle that she should go in the car first.

A photographer also snapped photos of Markle with a small part of her bra showing off. Her dress was left unbuttoned while at the wedding of Prince Harry’s good friend Charlie van Straubenzee.

And just like Middleton and Markle, the Queen is no stranger to having awkward moments in public even though she’s the monarch. In 2014, she was photographed picking her nose while at the Royal Windsor Horse Show. At that time, Prince Philip was also photographed doing the exact same thing.

Several other photos of the Queen picking her nose were compiled by the Huffington Post. One of the pictures were taken at the Newbury Races, while another one was snapped while the Queen was walking on the palace grounds.

In June, the Queen was also spotted talking to David Beckham. It wasn’t their first time to meet, but Her Majesty appeared to be extra giddy at the site of the athlete.
