  • Prince Harry earlier denied claims that he is working on two memoirs

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will team up to write a book about "leadership," a report says.

The Duke of Sussex's $20 million book deal with Penguin Random House includes four tomes, Page Six reported, citing unnamed sources. Aside from Prince Harry's memoir, he and his wife will also pen a book together focused on "leadership and philanthropy," a source said.

The book deal may also include a memoir and a wellness book from Markle, according to Page Six.

"With such a steady drumbeat of all the Harry announcements, you have to imagine that the Meghan dial is going to be dialed up," one insider "who knows the couple" told the outlet.

The source added, "One can only think that she would absolutely write a memoir — she has been outspoken to those who know her about her political aspirations in the future."

Markle is already a bestselling author following the release of her children's book, "The Bench," under Random House. However, the kids' book was part of a 2019 deal rather than the new one.

Prince Harry and Markle have not announced any additional books aside from the duke's memoir. Page Six said their rep was not available for comment.

The report came days after the Daily Mail published a story claiming that Prince Harry plans to publish two memoirs and that the second will be released only after the death of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth.

Prince Harry denied the claims Friday. A spokesperson for the Duke of Sussex told The Independent that contrary to "false media reports," Prince Harry is working on only one memoir, which is scheduled to be published by Penguin Random House in late 2022.

Sources told Page Six that it was "appalling" to tie anything to the Queen's death.

According to a statement from Penguin Random House Monday, Prince Harry's memoir will be "the definitive account of the experiences, adventures, losses, and life lessons that have helped shape" him. The book will cover everything from his childhood to adolescence, his career in the army and his present-day life as a husband to Markle and father of Archie, 2, and Lili, 1 month.

"Prince Harry will offer an honest and captivating personal portrait, one that shows readers that behind everything they think they know lies an inspiring, courageous, and uplifting human story," the description added.
