Meghan Markle is rumored to have cried after learning that her half-sister, Samantha Markle, will release a tell-all book about her.

Ruth Styles, a journalist for Daily Mail, claimed that Markle became visibly upset over Samantha’s two-part book because she felt that she was used. The unnamed source also said that the Duchess of Sussex stopped reading things about herself after she found out about the book.

“Out of everything that’s been said, the one thing that really upset her was that. She and Samantha never had a very good relationship and she feels her sister is using her position for profit,” the source said.

Even though Markle, Samantha and Kensington Palace have not confirmed these claims, it coincided with what one of Markle’s best friends said about the duchess and Samantha.

While speaking with People last week, the unnamed pal said that the two have been made to appear as siblings who had a falling out, but this isn’t the truth at all. The friend said that Samantha wasn’t a part of the “Suits” alum’s life because they had a huge age gap.

Samantha recently announced that her two-part book, titled “In the Shadow of the Duchess I” and “In the Shadow of the Duchess II,” will be released sometime in April and July. While speaking with Daily Star, the 54-year-old multiple sclerosis patient said that she will not hold anything back in her two books.

“You’ve got to read my book to see what things were really like. I have a very big mouth and I speak my mind – as the world can see – at any cost, even if it makes me unpopular, but I tell the truth even if it makes me unpopular,” she said.

One of the things that Samantha will discuss in her books is how Markle was raised. She said that the Duchess was not raised as an only child, contrary to reports.
