Meghan Markle made a surprise appearance on her pal Ellen DeGeneres' eponymous show and shared her daughter's newest milestone.

The Duchess of Sussex, 40, will appear on "Ellen DeGeneres Show" Thursday. In the promo ahead of the airing, Markle gave an update on her youngest child, baby Lili, who was born on June 4.

"Lili's now teething," DeGeneres reveals. The clip cuts to Markle with her hands up by her mouth, saying, "Anything to relieve that?"

"Tequila, anything," the talk show host suggests.

"That's Auntie Ellen for you," Markle quips with a smile.

"That's why I don't have kids," DeGeneres retorts.

The promo also featured Markle talking about her old car. According to the duchess, she couldn't get inside the car using the door. So, she had to climb in through the trunk. The duchess laughed as she recounted the time when she had to pretend she was looking for something at the back of her car before climbing in, so no one would notice.

The Duchess of Sussex's appearance on DeGeneres' show received mixed responses from the netizens. Several were happy to see her on the show, while others were not.

Markle's fans were excited to watch her guesting because they hadn't seen her in such a light atmosphere for years. Many of them also sent their love to Prince Harry's wife.

"Can't wait. Love you, Meghan," one supporter commented.

"Meghan is so BEAUTIFUL," another supporter added.

"I love you, Meghan [red heart emoji] my Queen," a third user wrote.

Meanwhile, Markle's critics were not happy to see her making an appearance on a TV show. For them, her TV appearance doesn't align with her and Prince Harry's wish to be private individuals.

"Such a narcissistic nightmare. No humility at all with constant RBF or looking like she's plotting her next scheme. A horrible person. Help us all! Ahhh!" one wrote.

"Can’t wait! Just two super-popular women having a chat," another netizen added. "Probably going to compare notes on; abusing staff, refusing to speak to minions, being vegan and the always entertaining sport of humiliating underlings should be quite something!! Better dust off the lie detector."

A third user mocked Markle by mentioning her wish to have a private life but making media circus, moving to a country with many paparazzi and tabloids, and doing interviews with her rich friends to share her private life with millions of people.

Markle and DeGeneres have been good friends for years. In 2019, DeGeneres and her wife, Portia De Rossi, visited the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in London. After the visit, the host shared some intimate details about the Sussexes' son, Archie, saying he looked like his dad, Prince Harry.

Also, Markle revealed in a previous interview that it was DeGeneres who encouraged her to bring home her dog Bogart. They met at a rescue shelter, and the host saw Markle with the dog. So, she asked the duchess if it was her dog and she said, "No." DeGeneres then urged Markle to take the rescue dog home.

"She [Ellen] yells 'Take the dog!' And so I brought him home. Because Ellen told me to," Markle said.
