Meghan Markle has made sure to keep her favorite hat in her wardrobe even after becoming a royal.

The Duchess of Sussex has slowly changed her fashion choices after her royal wedding to Prince Harry. Markle's hairstyle and outfits have shifted and become more similar to Kate Middleton's. But she still uses her favorite headpiece that has been a staple in her wardrobe for years, the Madewell x Biltmore Panama hat, People reported.

The Panama hat is Markle's favorite accessory to pack for vacations. In fact, she brought it along when she visited Madrid and Positano. The headpiece also made it in her suitcase during her romantic Jamaican getaway with Prince Harry.

The Panama hat features a black band. The publication noted that it is a practical choice as it is flattering on most face shapes. In addition, it goes well with almost everything, from a chic halter shirtdress to a bikini cover-up.

Markle was last seen wearing her favorite hat at the Audi Polo Cup over the weekend. On Saturday, she opted to wear a cotton gingham Ashland shirt dress by Shoshanna Grus. She paired it with a pair of brown strappy flat sandals from Sarah Flint and wore dark shades. On Sunday, Markle wore the same shades and hat, but sported an oversized shirt and black skinny jeans.

In related news, many noticed that Markle's fashion choices have been slowly becoming more similar to Middleton's. When the former "Suits" actress made her royal debut at Prince Charles' garden party, a number felt that her getup was reminiscent of the Duchess of Cambridge's ensemble when she attended her first garden party in 2012.

In addition, Markle reportedly took some cues from Middleton's makeup and hairstyle when she joined Prince Harry and Queen Elizabeth II at the Queen's Young Leaders Awards ceremony last week. Markle, who has become popular for her messy hair bun, apparently copied Middleton's signature curls.

The new royal usually wears little to no makeup, but during this particular event, Markle had a full face of makeup with shimmery cheeks. According to Isabella Sullivan, Middleton uses over-blushed and heavy shimmer cheeks for a "royal glow."

Meanwhile, James Johnson, a celebrity hairdresser, revealed that Markle looked great in most of the hairstyles that Middleton uses. However, he advised the Duchess of Sussex to leave the curls to the Duchess of Cambridge and find her own signature style.
