  • Samantha Markle threw shade at Meghan Markle

Meghan Markle’s half-sister, Samantha Markle, threw shade at the Duchess of Sussex and her decision to step back from her royal duties.

During her interview on ITV’s “This Morning,” host Eammon Holmes asked Samantha if it’s true that the Duchess of Sussex is caring and compassionate because this is how she seems to be in person.

“In my opinion, she is someone else and you know, when I saw that, it felt like a PR stunt,” she said.

Samantha also reacted to the photo of her sister at the Eastside Women’s Center giving away coats and boots to women.

“On the grounds of, my first question was how many coats and pairs of boots were the women at this shelter given? What were the donations like and so, it still is my opinion that public events are helpful and they raise awareness? But, real people in desperate crisis situations need donations and help. So, in the absence of that, I just felt it was absolutely PR,” she said.

Samantha went on to say that Markle has behaved in ways that are inconsistent with her claims that she is a humanitarian. She has also hurt a lot of people outside of the Markle clan.

The Duchess of Sussex has not spoken to her dad, Thomas Markle Sr., in over a year. And Samantha thinks that reconciliation won’t happen anytime soon.

Samantha also said that she thinks Prince Harry and Markle’s announcement was made because of her half-sister. Markle is believed to have encouraged Prince Harry to quit his royal lie because she’s unhappy with the constant criticisms that she had been receiving.

Meanwhile, Markle also made headlines this week after it was reported that royal family officials are panicking at the possibility of the Duchess of Sussex not returning to London.

Prince Harry and Markle announced that they will be living in London and Canada after they officially exit the royal family. And Markle is currently in North America.
