Meizu is rumored to soon announce its 2016 flagship smartphone, the Meizu MX6. It will be released to replace the Meizu MX5 that came out last year. The company has started sending invitations for the launch event of the alleged smartphone.

According to Gizmo China, the Meizu MX6 is expected to launch in March this year. The Meizu MX5 was announced in June 2014. It means that the Meizu MX6 rumors are indicating that it will be released its flagship smartphone early this year. Also, the invitations of an upcoming Meizu launch event are also indicating that the Chinese firm will be soon announcing its flagship.

Early speculations are suggesting that it will be sporting super-slim bezels along with a premium metallic frame and glass design. Earlier in this month, the alleged Meizu MX6 was found listed with AnTuTu benchmarks.

It has revealed that the purported Meizu MX6 will be coming with a full HD resolution supporting display. It will be powered by MedaiTek HelioX20 chipset that features a 10-core processor along with Mali-T880 MP4 graphics. It will be supported by 3 GB of RAM.

The Meizu MX6 will be coming with a native storage of 32 GB. Meizu may launch another variant of the smartphone with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage.

It will come preinstalled with Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS overlaid with its Flyme UI. The rear camera of the device will be of 20.7-megapixel and on the front, it will be fitted with an 8-megapixel camera. It will be packed with a massive battery of 4000 mAh capacity.

Rumors are also hinting that the company is working on a smaller edition of Meizu Pro 5 smartphone that was announced in September last year. It is expected to be unveiled after the arrival of Meizu MX6, Android Headlines reported.
