Mike Tyson’s tennis player daughter Milan is getting the best out of her dad and Serena Williams’ coach.

Now father of eight children, including 12-year-old daughter and tennis player Milan, Tyson seems to be completely the opposite of the “Iron Mike” people knew in the boxing ring. In fact, the 53-year-old legend has been spotted supporting Milan during training several times already.

Milan is a junior tennis player who’s been training with Patrick Mouratoglou, a coach of American tennis superstars Williams and 15-year-old Coco Gauff. The young Tyson has been quite passionate about the sport and even met with Williams and former #1 singles player and two-time Australian Open winner Victoria Azarenka in person.

After the epic encounter, Milan posted a photo of her with the two legendary tennis players on her Instagram account with caption: “Ummm all I can say is ‘star struck’ sandwiched between two legends.”

It is highly likely that the bond between Tyson and Williams may have been formed because of Milan. It will be remembered that during the tennis pre-season, Tyson spent some time with Williams and Gauff and Mouratoglou.

Williams even hit the punching bag with Tyson acting as her trainer. Although it is hard to tell that the said act got something to do with Milan’s tennis aspirations, Tyson and Williams’ time together still generated interest from all over the world.

In an exclusive interview with Sports Illustrated, Tyson revealed that he has been preparing Milan to become an individual sports champion.

According to Tyson, he has already started explain to Milan that in this kind of sports, she has to learn how “to be comfortable being alone a lot.” The boxing icon even instilled to his daughter that complaining has no place in individual sports. And more importantly, Tyson told her Milan that she needs to have passion for the game to be an all time great.

“When we took [Milan] to the training camp in Orlando. She’s the youngest girl there,” Tyson recalled.

“I always explain [to Milan], ‘If you really want to do this, you talk about [Novak] Djokovic, Serena Williams, this is what you have to do. You can’t complain. You have to love it. That’s what discipline is. You hate to do it, but do it like you love it’,” Tyson pointed out.
