KEY POINTS

  • Miley Cyrus shared pictures of Christmas celebrations on Instagram
  • She was joined by her boyfriend Cody Simpson
  • There were concerns that they split

Miley Cyrus celebrated her first Christmas with her boyfriend Cody Simpson. The singer shared a picture of the celebrations on social media that showed her boyfriend joining her family for the celebration.

Cyrus took to Instagram to share pictures of the Christmas celebrations. “Happy Holidays from America’s most dysfunctional family,” she wrote in the post.

Just after posting the family photo, Cyrus took to her Instagram Stories page to share a black and while picture of the family, and she was joined by her boyfriend in the post, E! News reported. The family gathered near the Christmas tree to pose for the cameras, and the singer’s pets also joined her.

The Instagram post of Cyrus and Simpson is significant because there were some concerns that the two have broken up. After splitting from Liam Hemsworth, Cyrus dated Kaitlynn Carter briefly before getting close to Simpson. That relationship too appeared to have ended when Simpson was spotted walking around in New York City with Playboy model Jordy Murray recently.

According to Page Six, Cyrus also had a positive message for her fans on social media. The singer’s advice to her followers for the holiday season was to take some time off, relax, and enjoy some warm meals. She also suggested her fans to eat sweets that people generally avoid during the rest of the year.

The other important advice Cyrus had for her fans was to “keep moving.” She said that movement is “an important ingredient to self love/care.”

As far as Cyrus is concerned, she has been working out and the picture she shared on Instagram was that of her doing some Pilates. She said that she likes to get moving every day, even if it is for only 15 to 20 minutes. The singer added that she has been “super gentle” with her exercise routine and she often limits it to a morning walk with her mom or her pets.
