Miley Cyrus is heading to Australia for a charity concert that is aimed at helping people who have been affected by the wildfires. The singer took to Instagram to announce her participation in the event and shared details about the tickets.

Cyrus wore a blue mini dress and knee-length black boots in the picture she shared on Instagram. In the post, she announced that she will be taking part in the World Tour Bushfire Relief charity concert that will be held on March 13 in Melbourne.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the one-night event is sponsored by AgBioEn. Apart from Cyrus, some of the other performers include The Veronicas, Lil Nas X, and DJ Seb. Robbie Williams will headline the event.

The money raised through the event will be given to charity organizations that are engaged in restoring forests, wildlife, and the communities that were affected by the fires. The main beneficiaries will include WWF Australian Wildlife, Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal, and Nature Recovery Fund.

The Bushfire Relief charity concert is just one of the many planned events in the World Tour. According to a press release, the main intention of the event is to “build a new model of music tour, inspiring global music fans to play their part in accelerating the transition to a climate friendly, sustainable future.”

The concert will take place at Lakeside Stadium in Melbourne. Tickets will go on sale on www.ticketek.com.au. Some of the other cities where the World Tour concerts will be held are Berlin, Montreal, Seoul, Taipei, Miami, and Osaka.

Cyrus did not share when she will be travelling to Australia to prepare for the event. She may share the details in the coming days. The singer is currently busy with events in the US. She was recently in New York City for the Marc Jacobs fall/winter 2020 runway show, People reported.
