Fast-rising Filipino fighter Jeremy Pacatiw knows that his upcoming clash with Fabricio Andrade will be essential.

After all, he will be facing the No. 4-ranked bantamweight under the ONE Championship umbrella.

“The Juggernaut” will mix it up with the Brazilian on the supporting card of ONE: Full Circle, which takes place at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on February 25.

It will not be easy, but given the fact that he left a lasting impression in his promotional debut last year, Pacatiw seems to be ready for the challenge as he is aware that a win over the Brazilian will further boost his stock in the division.

"I’d say that my upcoming fight with Fabricio Andrade will be the most ambitious pursuit I have in my career as I get a chance to face a ranked fighter," Pacatiw stated.

Andrade is on a five-fight winning streak, something that the Filipino will be looking to snap.

The last outing of "The Wonder Boy" ended with a huge first-round TKO win over Chinese spitfire Li Kai Wen at ONE: Winter Warriors 2 this past December.

Regardless, Pacatiw has proven he can stand on his own against fighters outside of the weight class' Top Five.

His last win was a unanimous decision victory over Chen Rui at ONE: Battlegorun in July 2021. It was the performance that officially introduced him in ONE Championship.

No less than legendary Team Lakay coach Mark Sangiao has full confidence in Pacatiw even if his fighter is a massive underdog against the Brazilian.

"Fabricio Andrade is carrying five wins in a row to his name and we’re not glossing this over. But we're also not selling Jeremy Pacatiw short. Our Team Lakay athlete will take great strides to the cage with only one goal, to put his name into that top-flight rankings," Sangiao said.

It will be an all-important fight for Pacatiw who can further cement his place in the aforementioned bracket, joining teammates Kevin Belingon and Stephen Loman.

"Getting that win will definitely draw me closer to the top. Indeed, this is another opportunity for me to unleash my skills and I can't wait," Pacatiw stated.
