After putting on two great combat sports events to kick off the new year, ONE Championship decided to release its entire fight calendar for 2022 via press release.

“We are thrilled to announce our 2022 live event calendar for ONE Championship. We have 24 blockbuster events scheduled so far, with more to come. We will continue to showcase the absolute best in world championship talent, martial arts skill, and entertainment value,” said company chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong in a press release.

The Singapore-based combat sports promotion had a strong opener to 2022 with ONE: Heavy Hitters last January 14 where women’s strawweight champion Xiong Jing Nan successfully defended her title against Ayaka Miura, while Saygid Izagakhmaev made his long-awaited promotional debut.

Fans were again treated to another solid card with ONE: Only The Brave last Friday, January 28.

The ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix had determined its final two fighters after both Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong and Chingiz Allazov won their semifinals matchups, while lightweight Zhang Lipeng of China and strawweight Jarred Brooks put on massive statement victories in their respective fights.

Of the dates released by ONE Championship, March 26 could be their most-awaited card as it is the date for ONE X–the outfit’s 10th-anniversary show that was supposed to happen in December 2021.

The event will be headlined by the ONE women’s atomweight world title tilt between reigning champion Angela Lee and Grand Prix winner Stamp Fairtex.

On the other hand, flyweight champion Adriano Moraes defends his title against No. 2-ranked Yuya Wakamatsu in the co-main event.

The hybrid MMA-Muay Thai rules fight between Rodtang Jitmuangnon and Demetrious Johnson will also be happening on the same card.

But in the meantime, fans of the promotion can look forward to ONE: Bad Blood next Friday, February 11 where fierce rivals John Lineker and Bibiano Fernandes finally get to settle their differences inside the cage for the bantamweight crown.

With two events happening roughly on the second and last week of the month, combat sports fans will certainly be treated to the best that the organization has to offer.
