Singapore-based ONE Championship has just confirmed that a four-fighter contingent from the Philippines’ Team Lakay will be making its way to ONE: Winter Warriors II.

Kevin Belingon and Danny Kingad are slated to make their long-awaited returns to the cage.

The No. 2-ranked bantamweight Belingon is looking to make his way back to the win column after a three-fight skid against South Korea’s “Pretty Boy” Kwon Won Il.

Former ONE flyweight title challenger Kingad has a potential title eliminator bout against former division king and No. 4-ranked Kairat Akhmetov of Kazakhstan.

“We are honored by the trust that ONE Championship has placed in Team Lakay. This is a huge opportunity for us to close the year on a positive note, and we are very proud to represent the Philippines on the biggest global stage of martial arts competition,” Sangiao said.

The famed mixed martial arts stable has been producing high-level athletes that ONE Championship fans have come to enjoy watching in the Circle.

Strawweight champion Joshua Pacio may be the only Filipino who is currently holding a title in the company right now, but the influx of talent should be able to compete for a title very soon.

“Our warriors will be going up against a handful of very tough opponents, so it's not going to be easy. Rest assured that we are working double time in the gym to produce a favorable outcome. Through our hard work and dedication, we will triumph,” Sangiao stated.

Other fights are expected to be added to the card in the coming days.

ONE: Winter Warriors II will be recorded at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on December 3 and will be aired live via tape delay on December 17.
