“Mr. Robot” TV series creator and producer Sam Esmail talked about what can be expected in the last two episodes of the show in a recent interview. Meanwhile, Rami Malek shared his thoughts about his character on the show in another interview.

Talking to Entertainment Weekly, Esmail said that the TV series is actually about the relationship between Elliot (Rami Malek) and Mr. Robot (Christian Slater). The real identity of Slater’s charter was revealed in episode 8 and more details about the character were revealed in episode 9.

Esmail said that the last two episodes of the show will mostly focus on the “Evil Corp pack.” The finale episode will also look at how the discovery of Mr. Robot’s real identity will impact the hacker group FSociety’s plan to take down the multinational company.

One mysterious character, who is seen helping the hacker group in their goal, is White Rode (B.D. Wong). “She is going to be quite impactful, but in a mysterious way,” Esmail said. The character is said to be just a glimpse into the Dark Army, a Chinese hacker group. Different sides of White Rose’s character will apparently be revealed in the future.

Esmail teased that the last two episodes of “Mr. Robot” will give the fans a “lot to process and a lot to rethink and a lot to figure out.” The producer did not reveal what happens on the show next and only said that “a lot things” were going to happen.

Elliot is currently unsure of what is reality, and is wondering why he is unable to remember crucial details about the past. Speaking to Geek Wire, Malek said that his character is trying to “numb himself from the world and remove himself.” The character has often been seen using drugs and facing the adverse consequences of that.

Malek said that his approach to playing Elliot in “Mr. Robot” is to “dig deeply” and research as much as possible about hacking and social anxiety, but at the same time make sure that he is able to distance himself from the character and ensure that the darkness of the character does not “torment” him physically and mentally. The actor revealed that he had watched documentaries about hacking and coding to prepare for the role.
