Contract negotiations between the MTA and its largest union is about to begin.

The MTA wants to stand firm on zero raises for its employees however John Samuelsen, the Transport Workers Union Local 100 president will be asking for a fair increase.

Samuelsen made it clear that the TWU would not accept three years of no raises, setting the stage for major strike, according to the New York Post.
