On Wednesday, My Chemical Romance announced that they are adding U.S. dates to their 2020 tour. This is the first time that the beloved New Jersey rock band, known for albums such as 2004's "Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge" and 2006's "The Black Parade," has embarked on a North American tour since their 2013 hiatus.

The official news came via a clip posted to My Chemical Romance's social media accounts. In the video, a young man wearing a cape can be seen entering a secret room where he encounters a private wedding. The post, which can be seen below, is also accompanied by the caption "The summoning..."

The announcement follows MCR's Dec. 20 reunion show, which took place at the Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles. They also announced concert dates in New Zealand, Great Britain, Ireland, and Germany prior to the upcoming 2020 U.S. dates.

As for where the rock band plans to go in the future, they have announced a string of U.S. dates in 2020.
