The best day of the year is here and you might not even know it. Friday marks National Bacon Day, a holiday to celebrate everyone's favorite greasy breakfast food.

To honor the pork product's day a number of places are offering great deals. New York's WBCS, for instance, has collected a number of special offers in the the New York City area. The Financial District's Clinton Hall is offering up a free beer with its Bacon Bacon Bacon burger. BBQ spot Brother Jimmy's, meanwhile, will give you a free add-on of bacon to any menu item, while Rossopomodoro is offering lower prices on a couple of signature dishes that feature guanciale, a fancy type of bacon.

New York City is far from the only the city that's offering up deals, however. Breakfast Republic, a California restaurant with multiple locations, is offering up free "Jurassic pork" upgrades, which appears to just be a large side of bacon. A good way to locate these sorts of deals is to search the hashtag #nationalbaconday on social media, including Facebook and Twitter.

A number of local publications have also put out lists of the best bacon spots in cities such as Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Cleveland, or Austin, Texas. The app Foursquare, which allows users to check-in at establishments, also has lists of the best bacon dishes for just about anywhere you could imagine.

If you're looking to make your own bacon dishes or celebrate at home, Fox News put together a handy guide of party ideas and off-the-wall recipes for things like bacon drinks in honor of International Bacon Day, the September holiday that is essentially the world's version of the U.S.' Friday celebration. Food Network, meanwhile, has a list of 50 relatively easy-to-make bacon dishes, including a bacon guacamole that has piqued the interest of this International Business Times correspondent.
