Every year on April 7, Americans do their patriotic duty and celebrate National Beer Day. Granted, it’s not technically considered a national holiday, but still, there are few things better than sipping on some beer and watching baseball or complaining about politics.

Actually, one thing is better: sipping on some discounted beer. So it’s a good thing that companies and businesses around the U.S. recognize National Beer Day, even if the federal government does not.

Here’s a list of deals where you can get cheap — and sometimes free — booze on Friday.

New York:

The stores and restaurants at Grand Central Terminal have many different types of deals: 20 percent off draught beer at Beer Table; two potato samosas and a beer for $5.99 at Cafe Spice; and $3 for 10 oz beers at Central Market, among many others. San Antonio, Texas:

Southerleigh Fine Food and Brewery will host a unique happy hour where beer prices will start at $1 per pint at 3 p.m. local time.

Florida:

The bars and restaurants at West Palm Beach have often had fun beer deals on National Beer Day; here’s a list of the bars where you can go and scope out the specials.

Pennsylvania:

Red Star Craft House in Exton, Pennsylvania will be giving out free amber ale.

California:

If you live in Fresno, the FresYes website published a list of places where you can find free beer starting Thursday.

Across the U.S.:

On The Border, a Mexican chain restaurant, has two deals from 4 to 7 p.m.: $3 Dos Equis drafts and $5 CoronaRitas.

Other national chains such as Houlihan’s, Chili’s Applebee’s and Buffalo Wild Wings offer cheap beer during happy hour regularly, but the National Beer Day deals vary from location to location. Call your local restaurant or check out its Facebook page to see if it has any deals.
