The Golden State Warriors are the emperors of the NBA until proven otherwise. Winners of three championships in four years, the Warriors sit atop the Western Conference once again and appear poised to further cement themselves as the next great NBA dynasty.

Las Vegas oddsmakers are inclined to agree. The Warriors have ⅖ odds to win the NBA Finals this year, according to Vegas Insider. While a few other teams have decent odds, the Warriors are still heavy favorites to pull off a three-peat in June.

The NBA has been dominated by a narrative that the Eastern Conference is inferior to its western counterpart over the past several years, but oddsmakers do not agree this year. The Milwaukee Bucks and Toronto Raptors have the best odds to dethrone the Warriors in the Finals, with identical 10/1 odds.

Behind them, the Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers have 15/1 odds. In total, Vegas Insider lists four teams from the east with better odds to win the Finals than any team in the west other than the Warriors.

The only Western Conference teams with serious odds to win the Finals behind the Warriors are the Oklahoma City Thunder and Houston Rockets. The Thunder have 25/1 odds while the Rockets have 30/1 odds. Oklahoma City has a former league MVP in Russell Westbrook and a possible future MVP in Paul George leading the way, while the Rockets just pulled off an impressive win over the Warriors without James Harden on Saturday night.

Odds to win the west have not changed much since the Feb. 7 trade deadline. Golden State is still the favorite with ¼ odds, followed by Houston and Oklahoma City with identical 10/1 odds.

On the other side of the country, there has been a bit of a shakeup in the Eastern Conference betting odds. The Raptors are still the favorites with 9/4 odds, but the Bucks passed the Celtics for second place, with 12/5 odds to win the conference. The Celtics and 76ers are now tied for third-best, with 3/1 odds.
