The Washington Wizards have been a downward trend lately and their hopes of a playoff run lie in the hands of Bradley Beal. Given that he opts to stay with the Eastern Conference squad.

With John Wall's Achilles injury possibly sidelining him for the rest of the 2019-2020 NBA season, the Wizards lack the needed star power to win games. However, Zack Buckley of Bleacher Report believes that there is a chance for Washington to push for a deep playoff run.

According to Buckley, the Cavalier's Kevin Love would bring a vital frontcourt presence in the slumping Wizards. Adding Love could potentially add a substantial scoring presence down the paint and behind the three-point line.

A shorthanded department for the Wizards, but they'd have to send some of their team's second-tier players and a couple of picks to compensate for Love's $120.4 million salary.

Cleveland would very much benefit if they were able to get rid of the power forward's albatross contract. Buckley believes that Miles and Ian Mahinmi's expiring deals, along with Jemerrio Jones' partially guaranteed contract would be enough to land love in Washington.

Not to mention a couple of future picks to sweeten the trade package. Most likely, the Wizards would offer a top-20 protected 2020 first-round pick to Cleveland in exchange for Love.

The Cavs would be able to to get solid veteran players and Love's astronomical contract will be out of their books. Last year Kevin averaged 17 points per game, along with 10.9 rebounds and 2.2 assists despite limited playing time.

If Healthy he is one of the NBA's most lethal power forwards that can stretch the floor and rebound at a high-rate. Love is also a proven veteran and his high basketball IQ could serve the Wizards well.

With Isaiah Thomas talking about proving his doubters wrong and a health Bradley Beal, the Wizards could look scary if the add Love to their lineup.
