Andre Iguodala is still at a precarious situation with the Memphis Grizzlies. The three-time NBA champion and Finals MVP is still mulling his options for the 2018-2019 season.

There have been several NBA teams that are interested in the savvy veteran. According to Matt Burke of Metro US, the Boston Celtics could send several players to Memphis for the services of Iguodala.

The 36-year-old combo forward is currently trapped in Tennessee, but if the pieces fit, he could guide Boston's young core after last season's identity crisis.

Together with Gordon Hayward, the organization could benefit from a fresh start and Andre's veteran leadership would be a significant improvement from the Irving chronicle.

The Celtics have the necessary pieces to get the deal done; one of the problems last season was that the bench was too deep. Burke believes that the "Grizzlies would love to get their... pick back from Boston... but they would be trading players, not picks."

Daniel Theis, Semi Ojeleye and RJ Hunter are intriguing prospects that could afford the Grizzlies a deeper bench. Carsen Edwards could also be considered, but Memphis should send another player along with Iguodala.

The six-foot-six forward averaged his career-low on points last season with 5.7 per game but also contributed 3.7 rebounds, 3.2 assists and a steal. He has a 13.12 PER rating and is well-known for his high basketball IQ.

If there is anything that Boston lacks, it's veteran leadership. Gordon Hayward and Kemba Walker are rumored to be great locker room guys, but Iguodala's championship experience puts him in a better leadership role.

Iguodala can still contribute in clutch situations, both offensively and defensively. He was a vital part in the Warrior's championship rotation and has proven that he can win.

He was traded to the Grizzlies this offseason to make room for D'Angelo Russell. His status in Memphis is still questionable, but if the pieces fit right, Mr. Iguodala could soon head to Boston.
