The countdown to the release date of “NCIS: Los Angeles” Season 11 has officially begun. The title of the premiere episode has been revealed to be “Let Fate Decide,” and the plot will continue to be about identifying the spies onboard the USS Allegiance and dealing with the missile attack crises in the Middle East.

The official Instagram page of the TV series has started a one month countdown to the release date of the show. Commenting on the post, many of the fans expressed their excitement about the show’s return.

Filming of the TV series has been ongoing for a while now. Lead cast member Chris O’Donnell, who will be reprising his role as Callen, announced his return to the show back in April. However, the actor hasn’t shared any updates since then.

Some of the other cast members have been sharing behind-the-scenes pictures and videos from the production sets of “NCIS: Los Angeles” Season 11. Kensi actress Daniela Ruah shared a video from the production set, confirming the return of wrestler-turned-actor Bill Goldberg as Lance Hamilton. The funny post showed the actor relaxing in the heat by using a hand fan.

While most of the main cast members will be returning, the fans will have to wait for a while before they see Eric Beale (Barrett Foa). The character will not be seen in the first five episodes of the next season because the actor is busy with the production of “Angels In America” at the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, TV Line reported.

How will the writers explain Eric’s Absence? Hetty (Linda Hunt) will assign the character to a “clandestine case,” and details about it will be revealed when he returns in the sixth episode. His work with an outside company will reportedly take a dangerous turn, and he will need the team’s help in order to survive.

“NCIS: Los Angeles” Season 11 will premiere on Sept. 29 at 9:30 p.m. EST on the CBS.
