Nestlé USA has issued a recall for several batches of Toll House products because they may have food-grade rubber pieces in them. The recall covers ready-to-bake refrigerated Nestlé Toll House Cookie Dough bars, tubs, and tube-shaped chubs that were distributed throughout the U.S. and Puerto Rico.

The recall affects Tool House cookie dough with batch codes that begin with 9189 through 9295. The batch code is located on the product packaging after the use or freeze by date and before the 5853 number.

Consumers that have purchased the recalled cookie dough products should not prepare or consume them. They should be thrown away. Customers should save their proof of purchase and contact Nestlé Customer Services at Nestléproductinquiry@casupport.com.

Nestlé said it recalled the cookie dough products “out of an abundance of caution. The company received reports of food-grade rubber pieces in the products and has identified the source of the rubber and fixed the issue. No illness or injuries have been reported from the contaminated cookie dough.

Nestlé said, “We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this action represents to both our consumers and retail customers.”
