Chick-fil-A is adding some new food and beverage additions to its menu just in time for spring as it looks to sweeten and spice up the season.

Starting on April 25, the chicken chain will begin offering a new beverage flavor with the Cloudberry Sunjoy – a combination of Chick-fil-A Lemonade and fresh-brewed sweetened ice tea that has been blended with cloudberry and cherry blossom flavors.

For those that don’t know, cloudberries have hints of raspberry, mango, apricot, and passionfruit flavors, which Chick-fil-A said will provide an “exciting experience for your taste buds” that is both sweet and tart.

The cloudberry thrives in cooler climates and are typically grown in Greenland, Canada, and northern parts of the U.S. The appearance of the cloudberry is as vibrant as its tastes, according to the company, with bright red and orange colors that can take up to seven years to cultivate from seed to blossom.

The Cloudberry Sunjoy served up by Chick-fil-A is poured over ice to offer a refreshing taste only for a limited time.

The restaurant chain also said that it will offer the Cloudberry Sunjoy in a small beverage size, by the gallon, and in 16-ounce bottles at select locations. The drink can also be customized with Chick-fil-A Diet Lemonade and unsweetened ice tea.

Chick-fil-A also serves a traditional Sunjoy beverage that is a mix of its regular lemonade and sweetened ice tea, which it introduced last spring.

“We imagine our new Cloudberry Sunjoy beverage will have most people asking, ‘What is a cloudberry?’,” Leslie Neslage, director of menu and packaging at Chick-fil-A, said in a statement.

“Grown in colder climates of the U.S. and Canada, the cloudberry has a unique flavor that is like a crossover between a raspberry and red currant, making it standout from other berries and pairs perfectly with our classic Sunjoy.”

The Cloudberry Sunjoy is not the only new menu addition from Chick-fil-A this spring, as more chicken fans will also be able to order up the Spicy Chicken Biscuit.

Chick-fil-A said it is expanding the availability of the Spicy Chicken Biscuit to another 700 locations for a total of 1,304 restaurants across the country.

The Spicy Chicken Biscuit was previously on Chick-fil-A’s menu but was removed in 2016 to make way for new offerings such as the Frosted Coffee and Egg White Grill breakfast sandwich.

To find out if the Spicy Chicken Biscuit is available at a Chick-fil-A location nearby, customers can check the company’s app or with their local restaurant.
