The 2017 NFL season will be three-quarters of the way finished with the conclusion of Week 13. It’s an important week for teams looking to stay in the playoff hunt, and the schedule features several games with two teams that are fighting for postseason positioning.

The Minnesota Vikings visit the Atlanta Falcons in what's probably the best game of Week 13. Minnesota is currently the No.2 seed in the conference, but the betting odds favor the defending NFC champions. Atlanta owns the final wild-card spot, though they are only a game out of first place in the NFC South.

The New Orleans Saints are tied atop the NFC South with the Carolina Panthers, and the division rivals will meet Sunday afternoon. The betting line favors the Saints by four points in New Orleans. The Saints beat the Panthers by three touchdowns in Carolina earlier this year.

Twelve of the 16 games feature point spreads of seven points or less. The AFC No.6 seed Baltimore Ravens are three-point favorites over the Detroit Lions, who are one game out of the No.6 seed in the NFC. The NFC No.1 seed Philadelphia Eagles are five-point road favorites against the Seattle Seahawks, who currently hold the conference’s No.7 seed.

After winning five of their last seven games, the Los Angeles Chargers are the biggest favorites of Week 13. L.A. is laying nearly 14 points against the winless Cleveland Browns. Los Angeles trails the Kansas City Chiefs by just one game in the AFC West. The Browns’ only win in 2016 came in a game against the Chargers.

The Dallas Cowboys are 1.5-point favorites against the Washington Redskins on “Thursday Night Football.” Both teams are longshots to make the postseason.

“Monday Night Football” can essentially end the AFC North race when the Pittsburgh Steelers visit the Cincinnati Bengals. Pittsburgh has a three-game first-place lead.
