The 2018 NFL regular season starts Thursday night when the defending champion Philadelphia Eagles host the Atlanta Falcons in a rematch from last year’s playoffs. It’s one of 16 games on the Week 1 schedule with 13 contests set for Sunday and two more to be played Monday night.

Nick Foles will get the start at quarterback over Carson Wentz, who has still not been cleared for contact after tearing his ACL in December. Philadelphia is favored by less than a field goal at home, and the season opener features one of the smallest betting lines of Week 1. All but three games open the week with point spreads of three points or more. The betting odds favor four road teams.

New Orleans is the biggest betting favorite in Week 1, laying nearly 10 points at home against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Ryan Fitzpatrick will get the start at quarterback in place of the suspended Jameis Winston. The Saints are considered to be one of the best teams in the NFC South, while the Bucs are expected to finish in last place.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are the only road team favored in the four Week 1 divisional matchups. They’ll visit the Cleveland Browns, who last won a regular-season game on Dec. 24, 2016. Cleveland has one victory in their last 35 games.

The Green Bay Packers are still favored by more than a touchdown over the Chicago Bears on “Sunday Night Football,” even after the Khalil Mack trade. Green Bay defeated Chicago by a combined 28 points in their two 2017 matchups.

Mack’s former team, the Oakland Raiders, will close out the Week 1 schedule when they host the Los Angeles Rams as home underdogs on “Monday Night Football.” The New York Jets are underdogs in Monday’s first game as Sam Darnold becomes the youngest quarterback to ever start a season opener.

The Washington Redskins will visit the Arizona Cardinals in the only pick’em of Week 1. The Houston Texans and New England Patriots have the week’s highest over/under. The Buffalo Bills and Baltimore Ravens have the lowest total.

Below are the complete betting lines for all the Week 1 games, including the point spreads and totals. These are the consensus odds from multiple sportsbooks in Las Vegas and online, via OddsShark.
