The NFL’s top Super Bowl contenders are heavy favorites in Week 8, according to the early betting odds. The New England Patriots, Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Rams are all laying well north of a touchdown on the upcoming schedule.

New England is easily the biggest road favorite of the season, giving the Buffalo Bills 14 points on “Monday Night Football.” The betting line for the Denver Broncos’ visit to Kansas City is up to 10 points. The Green Bay Packers are getting nine points in L.A.

It isn’t surprising that Derek Anderson and Case Keenum are significant underdogs against the AFC’s two best teams. It’s certainly unusual for Aaron Rodgers to be such a heavy underdog. The quarterback has never been this big of an underdog as a starter in his NFL career as he goes on the road against the NFL’s only remaining undefeated team.

The Pittsburgh Steelers and Houston Texans are also favored by more than a touchdown. The Chicago Bears are seven-point favorites at home against the New York Jets.

Three road teams other than New England are favored, though technically the Philadelphia Eagles are road favorites in London against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Baltimore Ravens are laying two points at Carolina and the Indianapolis Colts are laying a field goal in Oakland. The Washington Redskins are giving the New York Giants one point as they look to increase their lead atop the NFC East.

The contest between the Arizona Cardinals and San Francisco 49ers might be the week’s worst. It’s also the only pick’em on the schedule.

The Redskins and Giants have the week’s lowest total. Green Bay and Los Angeles have the highest over/under.

Below are the available betting lines for all the Week 8 games, including the point spreads and totals. These are the consensus odds from multiple sportsbooks in Las Vegas and online, via OddsShark.
