Week 5 of the 2019 NFL season could have a bunch of low-scoring games on the schedule. Only two Sunday games have an over/under higher than 47. There are three totals of 41 or fewer.

Below are the five best over/under picks in Week 5 with the latest betting odds at Las Vegas and online sportsbooks. Game totals are courtesy of OddsShark.

Buffalo Bills vs. Tennessee Titans Under 38.5

The Bills haven’t given up more than 17 points in a game this season. Buffalo held Tom Brady and the Patriots to just nine points of offense last week. That doesn’t bode well for Marcus Mariota, who is among the league’s most inconsistent quarterbacks. The Bills only scored more than 21 points when they faced a bad Giants’ defense. Twenty points should be enough to win this game.

Chicago Bears vs. Oakland Raiders Under 40.5

Neither the Raiders nor the Bears have put up more than 24 points of offense in a game this season. The Bears have surrendered 17 points or fewer in nine straight games. Chicago’s defense is still the NFC’s best. Even after last week’s win in Indianapolis, it’s hard to trust Derek Carr and Co. away from Oakland. Don’t expect Chase Daniel to turn the Bears into an offensive juggernaut. According to OddsShark, the under has hit in six of the last seven London games.

Baltimore Ravens vs. Pittsburgh Steelers Over 44.5

This isn’t the great Baltimore defense that the NFL has become accustomed to seeing. After giving up 73 points in their last two games, the Ravens rank last in opponents’ yards per play. Baltimore’s defense isn’t the league’s worst, but their lack of a pass rush is going to be an issue against good offensive lines. Pittsburgh protected Mason Rudolph in Week 4, allowing him to complete 24 of 28 passes. Lamar Jackson will put up his usual big numbers, potentially pushing the final score well into the 50s.

New England Patriots vs. Washington Redskins Under 42.5

The Redskins only scored three points against a bad Giants’ defense in Week 4. Washington could easily be held to single digits again when they face the team that ranks at the top of most major defensive categories. It doesn’t matter who Jay Gruden decides to start at quarterback. New England ranks just 19th in yards per play. The Patriots will win a one-sided, low-scoring affair.

Arizona Cardinals vs. Cincinnati Bengals Under 47

There’s still no proof that Kilff Kingsbury’s Air Raid offense will have much success in the NFL. Arizona hasn’t scored more than 24 points in regulation. The Cardinals are averaging 15.6 points in their last three games. The Bengals haven’t scored more than 20 points in a single game. Arizona and Cincinnati rank 28th and 29th, respectively, in yards per play. Only the Jets and Dolphins have scored fewer points than the Bengals. Take advantage of the fact that a matchup between two of the worst offenses in football somehow has one of the week’s highest totals.
