The 2012 NFL season is set to get underway on Wednesday, Sept. 5 when the defending Super Bowl champion New York Giants host the Dallas Cowboys.

Despite winning the title last year, the Giants are not the favorites to win the NFC East. New York's projected win total is nine, while the Eagles number is set at 10, according to sportsbook.ag.

The Super Bowl runner-up Patriots are expected to have the best regular season. New England's over/under win total is set at 12.5. The Packers finished 2011 with the most wins in the league with 15. Green Bay is right behind New England at 11.5.

The Browns and Jaguars are predicted to have to worst records this year with five wins.
