Heading into Week 16 of the 2018 NFL season, the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers have clinched two of the six AFC playoff spots. The New England Patriots and Houston Texans are all but guaranteed to reach the postseason, leaving two berths up for grabs.

If the regular season ended in Week 15, the Pittsburgh Steelers would win the AFC North and the Baltimore Ravens would enter the playoffs as the No.6 seed. According to the latest betting odds, there’s a good chance things will change over the next two weeks.

Assuming the Patriots and Texans both reach the postseason, six teams are still mathematically in contention for the AFC’s last two playoff spots. The Cleveland Browns need a miracle to survive beyond Week 17. The Tennessee Titans and Indianapolis Colts have the same record as Baltimore, but the Ravens own the tiebreaker. The Miami Dolphins are a game behind those three teams.

The Steelers have a half-game lead on the Ravens in the division. Therefore, they’ve also got a half-game lead over the wild-card contenders.

BetDSI has made Pittsburgh a -400 favorite to make the postseason. Tennessee is next on the list with +115 odds to reach the playoffs. The Titans are just ahead of the Ravens, who have +120 odds.

Indianapolis isn’t far behind with +175 odds. The Dolphins are long shots with +1000 odds. The Browns are considered a near impossibility to get the No.6 seed. Cleveland has +1250 odds to make the playoffs and -8000 odds to miss the postseason for yet another year.

Tennessee is a slight favorite over Baltimore because of their upcoming schedule. The Titans will play their final two games at home, and they could control their own destiny in the season finale. Tennessee is a 10-point favorite over the Washington Redskins in Week 16, per OddsShark, and they’ll host Indianapolis in Week 17.

Baltimore is likely to lose in Week 16. They are underdogs on the road against the Chargers, who are tied for the AFC’s best record. The Ravens will play at home in Week 17 against the Browns, who have won four of their last five games and beat Baltimore earlier this season.

If the Ravens lose to the Chargers, the Steelers only need one more win to clinch the AFC North title. They are underdogs on the road against the New Orleans Saints in their next game, but you can bet they’ll be double-digit favorites when they host the Cincinnati Bengals in the season finale.

The Colts are big favorites at home against the New York Giants Sunday. Miami ends the season at home against the Jacksonville Jaguars and on the road against the Buffalo Bills.

The Browns are favored by seven points against the Bengals in their next game.
