The first week of the 2022 NFL season featured mostly low-scoring games with 11 of the 16 games going under the betting total. Only three games on the Week 2 schedule have an over/under of at least 50 points.

Here are predictions for the five best over/under bets for Week 2. These are the best betting odds from FanDuel and DraftKings Sportsbook.

Carolina Panthers at New York Giants Under 43

New York's offense still has plenty of issues, despite the upset victory in Tennessee. Daniel Jones was under constant pressure in the first half and continues to be turnover-prone. Jones threw for 188 yards after averaging just 220.7 passing yards per game a season ago. The Giants and Panthers combined to score 20 points in the first three quarters of their season openers before making fourth-quarter comebacks.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New Orleans Saints Under 44.5

If any team knows how to slow down Tom Brady, it's New Orleans. Tampa Bay is averaging 17.7 points per game in Brady's four regular-season starts against the Saints. Brady has eight interceptions in those games. The Bucs scored 19 points in Week 1. The Saints had only 10 points through 48 minutes until making a comeback against a bad Falcons' team.

Washington Commanders at Detroit Lions Under 49.5

The total is too high for a game featuring a pair of mediocre quarterbacks. Expect both offenses to come back to earth after big performances in Week 1. Carson Wentz last threw for over 300 yards in consecutive games in the 2019 season. The Lions scored 14 of their 35 points against the Eagles when Philadelphia seemed to have the game in hand.

Miami Dolphins at Baltimore Ravens Over 44.5

The Ravens and Dolphins could have two of the best offenses in football. Lamar Jackson looks back to being his old MVP-caliber self. In both of Jackson's full seasons as Baltimore's starter, the Ravens averaged more than 29 points per game. Even if Tua Tagovailoa is no better than an average quarterback, the Dolphins can score plenty of points with Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle catching passes.

Atlanta Falcons at Los Angeles Rams Over 47

Expect a big-time bounce-back performance from the Rams' offense, which was held to 10 points in the season opener. Sean McVay has 10 days to prepare for a subpar Atlanta defense. Cooper Kupp picked up where he left off last season with 13 receptions for 128 yards, and he could find the end zone multiple times. This could be a one-sided game that allows for the Falcons to score a late, meaningless touchdown.
