The Cleveland Browns started the Week 7 schedule as winners in multiple ways. Not only did the team beat the Denver Broncos 17-14 Thursday night and move up in the 2021 NFL standings, but the Browns also covered the spread, which dropped to 1.5 points by kickoff.

Like the opener, it shouldn’t be difficult to correctly predict many of the straight-up winners in the remaining Week 7 games. The Arizona Cardinals, Los Angeles Rams and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, for example, are all favored by multiple scores against much lesser competition.

Those Super Bowl contenders are expected to get back in the win column Sunday. The only real uncertainty is their margins of victory.

The Green Bay Packers are seemingly a safe pick for a survivor pool when they host the Washington Football Team on Sunday. Many bettors expect Washington to at least remain competitive, considering the betting line has plummeted from 10 points at the start of the week to 7.5 points a few days before kickoff.

The Baltimore Ravens and New England Patriots should both take care of business against division rivals. Winning by just a field goal, however, won’t satisfy bettors who pick them against the spread.

It’s more than likely that at least one underdog, if not more, will pull off an outright upset. Three teams are favored, despite having a record below .500.
