Nicole Kidman appeared on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" on Wednesday and participated in a hilarious task of touching mysterious objects placed in a box with the host. At one point, the actress touched a fire eel swimming in the water and jokingly told the host that he is "so much in trouble."

The official handle of the show shared a seven-minute clip on YouTube featuring the actress guessing the objects inside different boxes. Kidman's appearance on the show was to promote her upcoming movie "Being the Ricardos."

In the video, the 54-year-old actress guessed the content of a box that contained a Barbie doll with a shrimp on its head. She noted there is an "odd smell" coming out of the box.

After figuring out that it was a shrimp, the actress said, "I thought it was an animal," which made Fallon laugh.

Fallon took his turn and put his hands inside another box that had nail clippings. "Oh my gosh, don't do it!" the actress warned the comedian. "It's terrifying."

For the final box, Kidman and Fallon both put their hands in. The box had a fire eel swimming in the water. This time, it was the audience who gasped, looking at the box from the other side before both of them could feel the eel.

"It's just water. Hot water? Steam?" Kidman asked Fallon while they both slowly put their hands inside the box to feel the object. The comedian looked at the box from the audience's side and said after watching the eel inside the box, "Oh my goodness gracious — are you kidding me?"

Kidman expressed her shock after looking at the eel and told the host, "You are in so much trouble," to which Fallon replied, "I would never do that to you! I didn't know anything about this!"

"The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" airs every weekday on NBC at 11:35 p.m.

Kidman's upcoming movie "Being the Ricardos," is based on Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz's lives and is slated to release this Friday in theaters and is available to stream on Amazon Prime Video on Dec. 21.
