It’s a huge day for those Nokia fanatics out there. The Finnish tech company HMD Global just introduced two new Nokia smartphones this week. The HMD Global’s new Nokia 7.2 and Nokia 6.2 are now available for sale in the UK market.

For starter, HMD Global is a mobile phone company that has been licensed by Nokia to sell Nokia-branded Android-powered phones in the mobile market. Nokia, the former smartphone manufacturer, has no investment in HMD Global’s business. Instead, the company retains some input in the development of its Nokia devices.

About the Nokia 7.2

As for the specs, the new Nokia 7.2 handset boasts a 6.3-inches LCD touchscreen with Gorilla Glass 3 along with a triple rear camera setup( 48-megapixel, 8-megapixel ultrawide and 5-megapixel depth sensor). There’s also a 20-megapixel selfie cam for taking shots with families and friends.

The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset and runs a version of Android 9 Pie mobile operating system, which will soon upgrade to Android 10. The new device features 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage and a 3,500 mAh battery to back up your digital activities.

The new Nokia 7.2 handset comes in three colors, the Ice ( a mixture of silver and blue), Cyan Green and Charcoal. Pricing starts at £250 or around $321. Check out the unboxing of Nokia 7.2, and find out more about this handset.

About the Nokia 6.2

This new device has an identical size display and display resolution, as well as the same battery capacity, with the new Nokia 7.2. The Nokia 6.2 also offers a triple-lens camera system. These are the 16-megapixel main camera system, the 8-megapixel ultrawide and the 5-megapixel depth sensor. There’s also an 8-megapixel shooter for taking selfie shots.

Like its sibling, the Nokia 7.2, the Nokia 6.2 also brings 4GB of RAM along with 64GB of internal storage. It also runs the same version of the Android mobile operating system, the Android 9 Pie. The only big difference with the Nokia 7.2 handset is that the Nokia 6.2 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 mobile processor. Pricing starts at £200 or around $257.

For now, the Carphone Warehouse has an exclusive for the device in the UK market, which means that it’s the only retailer that sells this Nokia 6.2 handset. But, the Carphone’s exclusivity will only last until December 3, 2019. After that, other retailers can sell the Nokia-branded devices. Check out the hands-on review below.
