An amber alert has been issued for a toddler missing from Youngtown, Ohio.

According to the amber alert, the abduction of 15-month-old Nova Sheridan was reported at 11.20 p.m. EDT on Thursday (June 25). The toddler was allegedly abducted by her father, identified as Kahlil Lamonte Sheridan.

“Biological father broke into the home of the biological mother by force and took the baby. The incident took place in Mahoning County, OH on 52 Moherman in the city of Youngstown 44509,” the amber alert stated.

The toddler is an African-American girl, approximately 2 feet tall, weighing 35 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes and has birthmarks on the bridge of her nose and her left arm.

“The suspect is a Black male, age 23, is 6'2" tall, weighs 210 lbs, and has black hair and brown eyes. The vehicle involved is a dark blue 2008 Volvo S60 with OH plate number K418739,” the amber alert stated.

The search was underway for the toddler and anyone with any information was requested to call 911 immediately. No additional details were available.
