KEY POINTS

  • ONE: NextGen III features kickboxing standouts Alaverdi Ramazanov and Rodlek on the undercard
  • Fan-favorite Rene Catalan looks to avenge his first-ever loss against Alex Silva
  • Lito Adiwang and Jarred Brooks will cap off the night in the red-hot main event

ONE Championship looks to keep the ball rolling with its "NextGen" series after announcing the full card for its third installment with a healthy mix of mixed martial arts (MMA) and kickboxing.

Brazil’s Felipe Lobo will be opening the card against Thailand’s Rodlek PK. Saenchai in a bantamweight kickboxing bout, with two fighters who are looking to prove that they have what it takes to compete in the division.

Lobo had a strong debut at ONE: A New Breed III with a split decision victory over Thailand’s Yodpanomrung Jitmuangnon, while Rodlek’s previous fight saw him lose by knockout in the third round after a valiant effort against current ONE bantamweight Muay Thai champion Nong-O.

The No. 20ranked bantamweight will test Lobo’s abilities in what will surely be a pace-setting match for the event.

Next on the card is Kyrgyzstan’s Ruslan Emilbek Uulu against Pieter Buist in a lightweight MMA bout.

Both fighters are coming off losses, but it can be argued that Emilbek Uulu has much more to lose compared to Buist as the former was stopped by Yoshiki Nakahara two minutes into his ONE Championship debut.

Panpayak Jitmuangnon will also be featured on the card as he welcomes Daniel Puertas to the promotion’s kickboxing flyweight division.

Puertas is carrying with him a three-fight win streak that he will look to defend against the 230-plus fight Muay Thai veteran.

Also, the long-awaited return of MMA veteran Rene Catalan to the promotion will be happening at the event as he rematches submission specialist Brazil’s Alex Silva.

Catalan lost his first-ever professional fight against Silva back in 2013, but the long layoff for the heavy-handed favorite hopes to bring him back at least one more victory he before he calls it a career.

Despite both fighters being in the twilight of their careers, a rematch between the two has been highly awaited after Silva against Catalan’s brothers, Robin and Ruel.

In the co-main event, Alaverdi Ramazanov has a tough assignment in front of him as he faces Pongsiri PK. Saenchai on the Russian’s road back to the kickboxing bantamweight title.

The main event is set to be a barnburner as Team Lakay’s Lito Adiwang and MMA veteran Jarred Brooks will finally get to settle their differences after months of trash talking.

ONE: NextGen III will be streaming live on the official ONE Super App and the official ONE YouTube channel in Asia on November 26 at 8:30 PM (Singapore Standard Time).

Meanwhile, the American audience can watch the entire event via B/R Live on November 26 at 8:30 AM ET.
