Can you believe it’s been 15 years since “One Tree Hill” premiered on The WB (now The CW)? The teen drama aired its first episode on Sept. 23, 2003, and now, all these years later, the cast and fans alike still want more.

The series, which centered around the lives of half-brothers Lucas (Chad Michael Murray) and Nathan Scott (James Lafferty) and their friends in Tree Hill, lasted for eight seasons before coming to an end in 2012. But, in the age of revivals and reboots, there’s always a chance for shows to be resurrected.

Here’s what some of the “One Tree Hill” cast members have said about the possibility of doing a revival show or a reunion movie:

Tyler Hilton (Chris Keller)

“Dude, we ask that every year. Who knows? I mean, it’s so random,” Hilton told Us Weekly in April. “But… every time I’m asked about it, I’m like, ‘It could happen. You never know.’”

Sophia Bush (Brooke Davis)

“There are no plans,” Bush told Bustle earlier this year about a revival. “I don’t know if that’s to say there never will be, but literally there is not a single discussion of a plan in the works at all.”

She continued: “Sorry, I always feel like I’m raining on people’s parade with that, but I just want to be honest.”

When speaking with Entertainment Tonight in June, she said, “If there was anything happening they would tell you. But I think with everybody on other jobs and shows, and with kids, and lives, I don’t know. Never say never I guess.”

James Lafferty (Nathan Scott)

“Nathan’s gone back into basketball, coaching in the NBA,” Lafferty said to Entertainment Tonight in 2016 about his revival idea. “Haley’s got an incredible music career. Jamie, I think, is on his way to the NBA and then maybe there’s a few more, like 14 more, Scott kids coming through the pipeline.” When the outlet suggested that Nathan would turn into more of a Dan Scott-like character, he was intrigued by that.

“That would be interesting,” he said. “Now that would be fun, that would be a fun thing to play.”

Austin Nichols (Julian Baker)

“Let’s do it,” he said to Us Weekly in July about getting the cast back together for a reunion project. “It would be amazing … if they even called me! Tell them to call me! No, but this is the first I’ve heard of it, so that’s very interesting. I’d love to see what happens.”

Shantel VanSanten (Quinn James)

“I’m like, ‘Hell yeah I would do it,’” the actress told TVLine in 2017. “It was almost 10 years ago for me, so how fun would it be to all come back and see where they’d write us?”

She continued: “More than that, Rob [Buckley, who played Clay Evans] is still my best friend, so to get to work with him again and reprise our roles would be awesome. It’s always fun to think about the good ol’ days!”

Jana Kramer (Alex Dupré) & Kate Voegele (Mia Catalano)

In August 2017, when rumors of a possible “One Tree Hill” reunion movie started circulating on social media, Kramer tweeted, “I like [the] sound of this.” Voegele quickly responded to her former co-star, saying that if they could “tackle each other on a football field again I’m totes in.”

Until a “One Tree Hill” revival comes to fruition, fans can always rewatch the entire series online on Hulu.
