OnePlus wants a select few to review the upcoming OnePlus 3 smartphone before its official release through its “The Lab” initiative. The company is expected to unleash its next flagship, OnePlus 3, through a VR launch event in the next month.

OnePlus will select 30 people who register on this page and send a OnePlus 3 handset each one of them. Applicants are required to mention in 500 words on why OnePlus should choose them. The 30 people won’t be selected randomly, but it will be chosen carefully by going through each entry.

OnePlus will send OnePlus 3 units to the chosen applications to review it for several days. The company will be sending the smartphones to the selected participants between June 13 to June 20. This indicates that the company will be announcing its OnePlus 3 flagship after June 20. The arrival of the OnePlus 3 seems imminent as it has already passed certification in China and the U.S., Phone Arena reported.

One needs to be aware of the fact that the company is expecting chosen participants to submit in-depth reviews of OnePlus 3. OnePlus has confirmed whether the chosen participants will be allowed to keep their OnePlus 3 handsets after reviewing them. The company holds the right to request the return of OnePlus 3 handsets that are sent to the chosen participants.

The OnePlus 3 is expected to arrive in two storage versions of 32 GB and 64 GB powered by Snapdragon 820 chipset. Rumors have it that the 32 GB and 64 GB models will sport 4 GB and 6 GB of RAM, respectively. The smartphone will be featuring a 5.5-inch full HD display.

It is expected to carry support for NFC, fingerprint scanner and USB Type-C port. It is pegged to arrive with 16-megapixels rear camera and 8-megapixel selfie snapper. The OnePlus 3 variants are expected to include a 3,000 mAh batteries.
